But both were readily available/sold together, and even exist on FDCs.

Santa Fe Black Honduras

Inside #C916: Honduras #C12O (Black Honduras)

Lou Wrote: There were only two known examples of the 1925 “Black Honduras” air mail stamp [reproduced on both Nicaragua C716 (1976) and Honduras C1075 (2000)].  The scan on the right is the stamp — now called the “Santa Fe Black Honduras”-- on both, and in fact, is now the only one in existence; the other stamp, the “Ustaritz Black Honduras” was lost in NYC almost 10 years ago and presumed destroyed.  Cherrystone Auctions sold the C12 rarity— stain and part gum notwithstanding, on January 11 2012 for $149,500.

#C1 Inside #C917: Newfoundland #C1O

Footnoted after C917:

Inscriptions on back printed on top of gum give description of illustrated stamp.
